Andrew Gardner has more than a decade of experience teaching and integrating technology with young children.
As Director of BrainPOP Educators, Andrew is building an online community of over 400,000 teachers, sharing his insight and guiding conversations about best practices, perspectives, and creative technology integration. Prior to BrainPOP, Andrew taught at The School at Columbia University, where he served as technology integrator, curriculum designer and founding faculty member. A graduate of Bank Street College, Andrew has been named an an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher, and has presented internationally from Manhattan to Mumbai on a range of timely education topics. Andrew also worked formally with Apple Professional Development facilitating intensive workshops with teachers, administrators and superintendents from school districts around the US. In fall 2014, Andrew began teaching at the Steinhardt School of Education at NYU as an Adjunct Professor of Instructional Design. He lives in New York City with his wife, Vanessa.
